Also during our family reunion we went to a lot of animal attractions. We went to the rainforest zoo, the aquarium, and a petting zoo. All had amazing animals such as a zonkey, kangaroos, jellyfish, stingrays, penguins, lemurs, tortoises, and more. The animals were amazing to see in person but the photographs provide some great memories.  Animals are always beautiful to take pictures of though they are rarely standing perfectly still. The aquarium had shark tanks that had tunnels so you were standing underneath them and they could swim right towards you before turning away. It was amazing to see the herds of deer that crowded around people in their pen when they thought that they had food. In the rainforest zoo I was shocked to see that there were certain birds that stayed in their habitat though they did not have an enclosure to make sure they stayed in their area. Even if you do not go to take pictures it is definitely a great idea to go to zoos and aquariums to see animal...

In July we went on a family vacation to Tennessee. It was hot but beautiful down there. We spent a lot of time at the top of the mountains and enjoying the different attractions that the location had to offer. I did not go on a hike but we did take a drive through the mountains and here are some of the pictures from the sites we saw while we were there. From waterfalls to the old buildings that were still standing.

Hello Everyone, This week I was trying to use a new pattern but it did not work out so well for my pattern. Instead of taking it apart this time and starting over I decided to try something different. The shape is not as clear in the picture but I will work on making it more visible once I am done with the rest of the blanket. In my eyes it is starting to look like a white seashell in the center. Once I have the blanket as the size that I want I will work on perfecting the visibility of the shell in the center.   Once this blanket is done I may try doing the other pattern again. Another thing I was working on during my time away from blogging was designing the decorations for my friend's son's birthday party. They liked the lawn mower idea that I used for my nephew but did not need the bubbles. We created cake toppers, reworked the banner items to make it fit anyone's needs, had invitations, and thank you cards. During my busy time away from the computer I was able to go on a hike up a mountain near my home. It was a wet muddy hike up and only one slip which happened to be on my way down. The scenery was amazing especially at the top of the mountain. I love using my DSLR camera and seeing how the original pictures come out. My next steps over the next few months will be to see the kind of edits I can make to them through my photo editing software programs. Hello Everyone, Apologies for the long time since my last post. It has been a busy few months. I have started working on a different career endeavor as well as working on a few new crochet projects.
