Animals during vacation

Also during our family reunion we went to a lot of animal attractions. We went to the rainforest zoo, the aquarium, and a petting zoo. All had amazing animals such as a zonkey, kangaroos, jellyfish, stingrays, penguins, lemurs, tortoises, and more. The animals were amazing to see in person but the photographs provide some great memories.
 Animals are always beautiful to take pictures of though they are rarely standing perfectly still.
The aquarium had shark tanks that had tunnels so you were standing underneath them and they could swim right towards you before turning away. It was amazing to see the herds of deer that crowded around people in their pen when they thought that they had food. In the rainforest zoo I was shocked to see that there were certain birds that stayed in their habitat though they did not have an enclosure to make sure they stayed in their area.
Even if you do not go to take pictures it is definitely a great idea to go to zoos and aquariums to see animals and have the chance to see the kinds of habitats they live in.

Hat Project

So I finally finished my hat and hand warmers. They are the perfect size for my head and I can fit some of those gloves for smartphones on under my hand warmers. They are so comfortable and go nicely with my gray jacket and coat. They were just practice patterns that I will use for myself but will keep them in mind for future projects. Right now I am going to finish on my blanket projects so that I can start with the new yarn that I got this week. But for now I am taking it easy as I am trying to enjoy the Halloween spirit. Baby blanket continued

So this week I have been working on my third baby blanket and have incorporated a shell design into the middle of it as I tried to show previously. It is looking a lot more like a shell than before I am surprised to say. I have not been able to take a photo of it and am waiting until I can call it done. I wanted to make the blanket a little larger and am thinking about what to do with the extra yarn that I am bound to have from my skein. I am thinking that I may turn it into a hat but we will need to wait and see how much material I have left at the end. Baby blanket finished

So the baby blanket is finally finished and some extra things were made to go with the blanket. So it is my first design blanket and time making a stuffed animal blanket toy but I think they came out pretty decent for a beginner just going with the flow of the creative juices. I even made a few hats with the yarn. They are simple but they are getting nicer with each new hat I make. I cant wait to get more yarn to make some more of these things and hats. With the yarn I have in stock I may just start working on a hat for myself. Maybe with some ears like a cat in time for the Halloween season.
